What to expect

The drums are a percussive instrument, meaning they are struck to generate sound. Within this family (percussion) there is a wide variety of instruments, our goal is for our students to have the broadest knowledge of music; This is why in addition to studying drums, we know the minor and major percussion instruments, and the reading and writing of them.

Eleazar M.

Eleazar Mercado. Piano and drum teacher at AMS academy. He has certifications from Yamaha Music School, and from an early age he has developed a great passion for learning and teaching music.

COURSES

  • Curso Little Kids Rock

    Just as in our "LITTLE PIANISTS" course we have thought about the youngest talents, this course is designed for children between 5-8 years of age. We have attractive books for children and instruments tailored to them.

  • free drums course

    The popular drum course is a course that includes basic knowledge of drums. Reading and writing drums are not included in the curriculum, but band ensemble and musical creativity are studied.

  • Battery Level 1 & 2

    Levels 1 & 2 is the professional study course of the instrument, in addition to including a certificate at the end of each level. In this course the foundations of percussion are laid, we learn the study of the staff for the drums and its execution. It is suitable for all ages from 9 years old.

  • Battery level 3 & 4

    This is the second module that includes levels 3 & 4 focused on monitoring and adding knowledge to our students. It is a slightly more intense course in which what was learned in the previous module is developed.
